Time Is All It Takes is a family owned clock and music box restoration workshop operated in old town Glen Allen, Virginia.  The shops current location was opened in February 2011, but the operation has been in existence in one form or another since the mid 1960's when Rudolf Lunze originally from Pulsnitz, Germany started practicing his craft in Virginia.  While Rudolf is no longer with us and his wife who once did fine custom engraving work has also recently passed away, two more generations of Lunze's are keeping the tradition alive, John and Jason Lunze.

Unlike other clock repair establishments we do not focus on one type of clock or period but specialize in restoring all types of timekeeping devices.  While John is fond of New England woodworks clocks and Jason has training in 17th and 18th century European timepieces we can just as easily restore other genera of clocks as the basic principles of restoration apply to all.
